Your own grain spawn production – at a professional level
Ten empty spawn bags with a 0.2 µm microfilter and injection port. You fill them with your own substrate (wheat, rye, CVG, etc.), seal, autoclave – done. For everyone who wants to optimize costs and use individual recipes.
What you get
10 polypropylene bags, dimensions 10 × 8 × 50 cm (autoclavable up to 121 °C), with an attached 0.2 µm microfilter and self-healing injection port.
What it is suitable for
DIY grain spawn (wheat, rye, millet), CVG or Master's Mix production, agar plate bags, culture archives. For growers with an autoclave or pressure cooker.
How to use it
1. Filling: Add substrate (hydrated), leaving 1/3 headspace.
2. Sealing: Close with an impulse sealer or clip – filter patch on top.
3. Sterilizing: 90 min at 121 °C / 1 bar in an autoclave or 3 h in a pressure cooker.
4. Cooling: 24 h to room temperature.
5. Inoculating: Through the injection port with a syringe.

Substrate and autoclave not included. Bags can be stored unopened for years. Shipped from Erlangen.

Safety information
Usage and safety instructions
The bags are intended for autoclaving/sterilization. Observe the permissible temperature of your autoclave/pressure cooker and do not overfill the bags. After sterilization, they are hot and pressurized – let them cool down completely before opening. Keep the bags sterile and only open the injection port immediately before inoculation.
• Thin plastic bag: keep away from children, danger of suffocation.
Right of withdrawal Sealed goods for hygiene reasons: The right of withdrawal expires once the seal has been removed or the injection port has been opened (Section 312g (2) No. 3 of the German Civil Code (BGB)). Details can be found in Section 6 of the General Terms and Conditions.
